OfflineHi,
I get 4 errors on a page when validating via w3c.
The page has this info
Encoding: iso-8859-1
Doctype: XHTML 1.0 Transitional
This is the first error
Line 6, Column 12: there is no attribute "NAME"<META NAME="Description" CONTENT="this is the description text"✉You have used the attribute named above in your document, but the document type you are using does not support that attribute for this element. This error is often caused by incorrect use of the "Strict" document type with a document that uses frames (e.g. you must use the "Transitional" document type to get the "target" attribute), or by using vendor proprietary extensions such as "marginheight" (this is usually fixed by using CSS to achieve the desired effect instead).
The other 3 errors relate to the same META data but the page is Transitional?
Is this something to be concerned about and if so what can I do to remove the error?
Thanks
